Every morning I check bitcoin and other cryptocurrency prices only to see that they are going down and down and down. I understand this is normal in trading.
I got started trading bitcoin late last year before everything started shooting to the moon. I bought my first bitcoin at around $7,200. I didn't spend much on it. I had a few spare $$ I was trying to withdraw from an online payment processor and I couldn't because they literally had the worst support. It took me months trying to get verified so I can withdraw my money. Kept sending and resending the requirements they asked for but nothing was happening for months (around 6months). Then I saw their new feature "Buy Bitcoin" so that's what I used to get my money out of that payment processor.
I guess my question lies more on "Am I wasting TIME on crypto?" I'm not really that emotionally attached with the monetary value because I believe money is money. We spend it, we can earn it and we can save it. But TIME is a different story, once we spent it, we can not earn it back or save it.
I've been spending countless hours lately for the past 3 months watching the prices, trying to make my own technical analysis, and trying to properly trade them. I can safely say I have more profits against my losses when trading (in terms of cryptos) but I feel that it's not as productive as I envisioned it to be. I have more bitcoins and other cryptos now but it's monetary value is way lower lately.
What do you think? Is it worth the time and effort?
