Just as Facebook started with Harvard students, they started with EOS tokens. The plan has always been to expand beyond EOS.
marketcap.one is trying to solve the problems of CoinMarketCap, while also releasing innovative features and products people love. If they tried to do that while listing thousands of coins and supporting hundreds of exchanges, they’d fail.

marketcap.one has a lot more freedom with so few tokens to focus on, and so few users to please — as Facebook did when they only had to please Harvard students. As they’re ready for it, they’ll be supporting new assets, chains and exchanges.

marketcap.one don’t expect to become the main BTC price site anytime soon but they know from lots of feedback that many of their users care about the price. Today, they no longer have to go anywhere else to get it.

Healthy advertising
Today they’ve also rolled out their first ad. One they feel adds genuine value to our users. It’s for Emanate and their coming alpha release. The banner simply links to the $EMT page on their website.
Some forms of advertising are able to add genuine value to all parties. Such as Craigslist charging for job listings in some cities. It reduces spam for users, gets more candidates for employers and allows Craigslist to turn a profit. marketcap.one feel they have the start of a similar advertising product.
Projects want to get the word out. Users want to find high quality projects. They’d like to turn a profit one day. This potentially accomplishes all three.
