This trend is an extension of the direction of the altcoin/Bitcoin marketplace since September 2015 where altcoin earnings decline as the price of Bitcoin rises. The Bitcoin value expressed in USD has recovered to its January 2016 level whereas Bitcoin earnings are only slightly above the rate of April 2015.
