I think in actuality, that Bitcoin will soon be overtaken by superior technology. First-mover advantage can only get you so far. If you look at what's coming down the pipeline, indeed what's already here like steemit, then it will become obvious that while Bitcoin may always be around, it will be overshadowed soon. Maidsafe is developing a decentralized internet where you can store your files forever for the cost of sharing your harddrive with the network. They have a coin as well to value the amount of space you share. What happens when people realize they can have their own website for pennies? No more DNS or hosting or anything like this. Well it will blow up just like Steem has been doing. Bitcoin is a first entry into a world with myriad possibilities.
