Tired of watching your crypto wallet shrink each January? Out of Fiat? Then It's time to cheer it up with some crypto airdrops!
First things first: If you are a crypto-noob, an airdrop in the cryptocurrency world is a way to reward HODLers with free crypto.
Airdrops are also awarded upon completing certain tasks such as e-mail registering and/or joining a Telegram group.
Don't expect to retire on airdrops. Usually the airdrop are enough just to wet your appetite and initially valued small. Don't let that dissuade you from participating. You never know what cryptocurrency will moon in the future. eBTC airdropped approx 2500 for just signing up. If you had strong hands that airdrop was the easiest $3,250 you ever made using today's eBTC price. This article has other examples.
The hardest part about airdrops is being aware of them. Most airdrops have an expiration date. There is nothing worse than finding out about an epic airdrop after it expired.
To keep abreast of new airdrops (there are many) I use and recommend signing up with airdropalert.com and then signing up on their Telegram channel.
While this doesn't guarantee that you will be aware of all the airdrops in the market, I suspect they capture the majority of them.
