Would you like to be more effective in your efforts to effect change for the better?
Meme's on social media trying to bring awareness to the impact of global climate change are one thing - but are they effective. Probably not.
Politicians this week are all in a frenzy over Trump pulling out of the Paris accord - this is trump-eted (pun intended) by the mainstream media as a catastrophe. Actors in Hollywood all have an opinion! Good grief! In my 50 years on the planet that I love, it is clear that our politicians who negotiate these deals are "bought and paid" for by big business before they even sit down and take a sip of water.
Every government program or initiative inevitably has the opposite effect of the intention. In the United States there was the Patriot Act which was terribly un-patriotic. The United Nations have peace keepers all over the world who regularly fail to keep the peace but are very effective at wasting huge sums of tax payers money in the process. Think of any government program, look at it's title and asses its success, has it achieved it's goal? "The war on Drugs", "The war on Terror", The war on Poverty", none have achieved their stated and intended aims. Every government initiative invariably turns out to be a capital waste and abject failure.
This is the same for these climate change initiatives and summits. Politicians fly-in, in very expensive private aircraft to wonderful cities around the globe, they eat the finest food, use the finest silver, stay in the best hotels and you know for sure that the wine will never cheap. All paid for by you and I, in our interest of course. These parasites sit around and chat for 15 minutes and ratify reams of legal text written for them, written up by the lawyers of the biggest businesses and usually the worst polluters.
Dark suited morons eventually emerge from their meeting with strained smiles for a photo op, to convince us they have done something worthwhile again all in our interest.
What a scam!
What facilitates this useless merry-go-round? Money, and lots of it. Money better described as unbacked fiat currency.
Crypto currencies like Bitcoin are going to be the most effective tool in history to make this a more peaceful, less polluted and less corrupt world. Big claims you might say, I would say not, let me explain.
Should citizens start to abandon their national currencies in favour of decentralised crypto currency then the valve of the national currency will plummet. This will simultaneously take the power from government to wage war and carry favour with vested interests regarding pollution and many other wasteful and corrupt initiatives.
As businesses start to adopt acceptance of Bitcoin the need for a bank and the need for the dollar will evaporate. There will come a time where businesses will attract the best talent because they will offer salaries in Bitcoin, this will then see rapid uptake - national currencies will fall in purchasing power Bitcoin will gain strength and gain purchasing power.
Individuals will be their own bank, Bitcoin and cryptos are global currencies. Today I can buy a suit in Sydney, a coffee in Curacao and teriyaki chicken in Tokyo all with the same Bitcoin - the deal done directly between me and the vendor with no middle man. These transactions will be invisible to government. There goes their power.
In Japan this week a major retailer is making moves to accept Bitcoin in 100,000 convenience stores. Peach Airlines a low cost carrier also in Japan is accepting Bitcoin for airline tickets. What need for the Yen.
So if you want really effect rapid climate change for the better, have a less polluted world and take the power of government to wage aggressive wars and to give a punch in the face to these faceless, spineless corrupt government oxygen thieves - learn all you can about Bitcoin and the blockchain, then start using it and teach your friends. This will be the future, I look forward to witnessing, you should too.
