There Can Be Only One
Bitcoin is made from nothing, false it currently costs about $1000 in technology and power to create 1 bitcoin. Fiat is printed by a central bank at almost no cost, fiat currencies are debt-based claims on future profits. Bitcoin is mostly use for illegal things, like drugs, guns and money laundering. Really... and no one uses fiat currency for any of that?
What I never get tired of hearing is that it's too late to get into it, or that bitcoin is in a bubble. What if fiat currencies are actually in a state of hyperinflation compared to bitcoin and other crypto currencies? Those people like the banksters that keep dismissing bitcoin are missing the point. The high price in bitcoin is evidence of the lack of trust in the banking system and the free money they keep printing.
"Those of you in the old school who believe this is a bubble simply have not understood the new mathematics of the blockchain, or you did not care enough to try. Bubbles are mathematically impossible in this new paradigm. So are corrections and all else." - John McAfee
I just quickly wanted to touch on the recent launch of bitcoin futures. Most of what I'm reading out there is that it is a way to manipulate the bitcoin market, in my humble opinion, all that it's going to do is give bitcoin free advertising. Why trade futures when you can just by bitcoin?
"Virtual currency, where it's called a bitcoin vs. a U.S. dollar, that's going to be stopped. No government will ever support a virtual currency that goes around borders and doesn't have the same controls. It's not going to happen." - Jamie Dimon
