For someone who has a doctorate in math, this indeed is a wild bet, but McAfee has my attention
Say WHAT?
John McAfee, the owner of McAffee cyber protection software suite, claimed that Bitcoin would hit $500k within three years or he would eat his dick on national television on July 17th. This wild claim comes from his point-set-topology analysis which he says will follow an asymptotic curve. According to this analysis, he also claims that Bitcoin will be at $2.431 million in 3 years. Hard to grasp the concept but he says he will only hold Jihan Wu's version of bitcoin.
In response to this claim, McAfee's wife Janice wrote the following tweet:

Mcafee has gained a reputation as a wild man, and this whole conversation was most obviously a marketing ploy (genius) to get all eyes in the cryptoverse focused on him so he could drop news about his Chinese ICO. McAfee coin (MCF), according to it's website, is a blockchain with multiple purposes. Headed by Yale ReiSoleil, John Zhu Zhu Yongqiang, and John himself, MCF aims to offer start-ups entrepreneurial acceleration, develop an investment system based on AI, and start a VERY Steemit like social media rewards platform. The social media platform advertisement reads as follows: "McAfee XL has launched an investment social networking and content rewards platform to make the public a beneficiary of "paying attention to the economy." It encourages content contributors in the form of rewarding the McAfee fee MCF." Source
This cryptocurrency stands to have an interesting future, but the execution will be a result of the collaboration of RSK (bitcoin smart contract developers) and McAfeeXL. Launching a social media cryptocurrency investment platform will undoubtedly be a smashing success and if it is tradeable in the U.S. may be worth a look for investment.
