Microsoft has announced to invest 500 million US dollars in the Internet of Things (IOT) sector worldwide.
On Wednesday, the US software giants said they will invest that money in India and other countries in the next four years. Microsoft is expanding the coverage of the cloud, operating system and device under the IOT platform, so that any customer can create 'reliable connected solutions' - news from IANS.

The organization's preferred platform for various types of IOT devices is considered by Microsoft Azure. Microsoft Azure IOT has been used in 'Smart Street Lighting Project' in Jaipur, India.
