Hello! In my effort to highlight the misconceptions and uninformed reactions on bitcoin I bring you two more examples I found online.
Once again, a portuguese mainstream newspaper failed to publish an article about bitcoin without mentioning the words "illegal activity"
In an article about the price raise after the hardfork why did they had to write:
Bitcoin... is frequently used in illegal activities.
and mention that the recent HBO hack attack responsibles are demanding a payment in Bitcoins...
as well as the WannaCry hack attack...
?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
I've read their articles about the Euro and the USD. They don't mention anything about illegal activities. I guess there is none...
In a forum:
User 1: "Bitcoin is in all time high and I want to begin. Where should I start? Where do I buy a wallet?"
User 2: "For starters, you should be able to answer why you want to get in with all time high. You see, in the traditional stock market what you said would make no sense. Regarding BTC and the foreseeable future, it makes completely sense, so you should join. Being able to see the differences in both worlds would be a great start to justify your actions and decisions."
User 1: "Why doesn't it make sense for the normal market? Last week my brother bought $50k is stocks because it has been going up."
...
I know we can't save everyone!
