Why do people love bitcoin?

Past few months there was crazy hype about Hive account@bitcoins and still is. Everybody started talking about bitcoins. Why won't they? Values were skyrocketed. 19000$ damn that's a lot of money for 1 Hive account@bitcoin and prefer it to rise beyond that value .
So, i started thinking is it really the price that makes it special or is there something else ?
Well i won't deny that the value is one of its perks but dealing with bitcoins is rather easy specifically buying and selling if your have access in your country . I think the way it's value fluctuates is Hive account@gamechanger. It's like a gamble. one win and you are on your road to become millionare. Bitcoin has revolutionized the finance drastically.
