Fast food chain Burger King's own crypto-money WhopperCoin, introduced in Russia
For whopper sandwiches purchased WhopperCoins can be sent for free, sold, and used again to shop at Burger King.
According to the statement, Burger King in Russia will earn 1 WhopperCoin for every ruble they spend on customers Whopper sandwiches. Burger King Russia has started accepting Bitcoin this summer as well. Obviously Russia was chosen as pilot country.
The company will also introduce Android and iOS apps next month. With the application consumers will be able to sell WhopperCoins or send them to their friends.
