Bitcoin’s value has once again risen above $4,581 per coin - but will we see the bubble burst any time soon?
Bitcoin has reached a new all-time high of $4,581 as prices shoot up a further six percent in 24 hours.
Data from Coinmarketcap shows averaged exchange trading values at $4581 as of press time Wednesday, a clear $235 higher than the previous all-time high on August 15.
While this might seem impressive, the total market capitalization (market cap) of the crypto market has climbed more than twice as much, pushing higher as investors continue to pour money into the broader asset class.
The market cap of these innovative assets has surged more than 800% this year, according to CoinMarketCap.
