Will he won't he? Let's face it a lot of us have been pondering whether Kim Jong-un will flick the switch. After all he's been threatening to pummel all earth all this while happily baking his nukes or doing christmas shopping (China helping them out?). Till now it seemed like a loud bark which a lot of people would have ignored.
But then he sent one bomb over Hokkaido... Jeez he really did tease everyone on that island. That has sent shockwaves across the globe and will have an impact on Global Economy too if there is additional buildup.
While I do not wish for a war, but what will happen to our safely stashed away bitcoins? Suppose if NorKor decides to go to war with South Korea or Japan then there will be less impact on the Cryptic currency. But what if others decide to join in the party like USA, Chine and Russia. That will surely lead to a panic of galactic proportions to say the least. In such a scenario our beloved Bitcoin is bound to crash. Why would people still hold on to something which is virtual and can't be locked in their bomb shelters. They would rather stock up on rations and other things if a war on global level breaks out. I say we must wait and watch the scenario.
It may go the other way around too in the event of a regional conflict. You could see the value of Bitcoin skyrocketing since the currency is still circulating globally and parking your money digitally may make sense and hence drive the value up.
