Bitcoin - one of the best asset class
Yesterday, I posted that BITCOIN might be worth between 1M-13M in 2045 based on Michael Saylor's prediction. I suggested that even if that has a 10% chance of being true, would you allocate 1%-5% of your new capital into BITCOIN?
Using 10K of new capital would only mean $100-$500 being allocated to BITCOIN per year.
Today, I wanted to talk about this article I saw on CNBC about BITCOIN hitting six-figures:
This chart is what I wanted to talk about. "Bitcoin has been the top-performing asset in all but three years since 2012." Most people would not BELIEVE that BITCOIN has been one of the best assets to own. The problem most people have is how can this continue?
To understand RISK, you should never go all in even BASED on this data. Why? What if BITCOIN goes to zero? What if Bitcoin has 2 or 3 years of negative returns? The best way to invest in risky investments to to use a small dollar amount and dollar cost average into it. This is why buying $10 a month or $50 a month into Bitcoin for a single year can be worth $1,700-$232,000 by 2045.
I rather reduce a 401K saving to the match level or stop contribution into a ROTH IRA and use that "cash" for a Bitcoin purchase. I understand that most families don't have 10K sitting around to be used for BITCOIN purchases. This is why most people often can only afford $10 a month or $25 a month. The beauty is you can dollar cost average into BITCOIN using any small amount.
