It all started when Poloniex started have problems not so long.
So, I decided to look into trading on Bittrex again.
While getting reacquainted with Bittrex, I discovered something strange.
On August 8, 2015 I bought 827 Neoscoins.
If you asked me why I bought 827 Neos in August of 2015, I would tell you I thought the name was cool and it reminded me of Neo from The Matrix.
Clearly I didn't know much about crypto back then.
Here is my Bittrex order for 827 Neos at 1413 satoshis for 0.01172923 (that's about $6, at that time Bitcoin was approximately $592)
The small arrow on the chart represents the time of purchase.
By the way, I love charts that look like this!
So, on the same day I withdrew 837 NEOS from my Bittrex wallet.
This is around the time I discovered Poloniex and decided to move all my coins to Poloniex.
Looking back, why didn’t I just buy it on Poloniex?
Deposit
Here's a copy of my deposit of 837 NEOS from Bittrex to Poloniex.
Withdraw
For some strange reason two days after depositing 837 NEOS into my Poloniex wallet, I got the bright idea of withdrawing 817 Neos and sending it to some unknown wallet.
I have no idea why I was moving my crypto so much, it looks like I'm laundering money or something.(joking)
Sell
This is me selling my only 2 Neoscoins that I had left on May 22, 2017.
I had to sell it, it hurt my soul looking at 2 coins.
So I bought 2 ANTs, which is a cool project in my opinion and I like the symbol. I will be buying more.

What could have been.
It hurts so bad!
Around the time I made the withdrawal, I was still messing around with A CRAPPY exchange called Crypsty. I believe Crypsty to be the unknown address holding my Neos hostage.
Crypsty has shut down and currently going through a lawsuit.

So, I found out about the sign up for the class action lawsuit a few day after the deadline.
I email Crypsty settlement and they gave me okay news.
I'll have to wait and see if the parties will accept late claims.
All I can do now is submit my form, wait and start going to church again.
During this ordeal I did learn a few lessons looking back on my mistakes
Having patients and thinking long term. At the end of the day the crypto market is still brand new and has plenty more room to grow. Even coins like Neoscoin can do well with little to no buzz.
Do your due diligence. Going back and looking into the archives of my crypto trades dating back to 2014, and realizing most coins are going to fail. So do your own research. Trust no one.
Be accountable, keep good records of all your transactions and holdings.
Keep the hope alive. There's still a 5% chance that I might can recover these lost Neoscoins.
