Bitcoin is digital asset a which is created electronically, by using a blockchain technology. And since the Prime Minister of India Mr Narendra Modi is emphasizing on digital economy and at the same time we have a young population of around 65% which is less than 35 which is net savvy, therefore we can say that there is a huge scope of digital currency in near future. Gradual shift of cashless economy is already happening and in near future cryptocurrency will hold the bulk transaction.
As per a recent CNBC India report, a committee consisting of finance ministry, IT ministry , NITI Aayog, and officials from Reserve Bank , are considering to legalizing virtual currencies in India(This report came somewhere in the month of june 2017).
This further implies that Bitcoin is going to command a very high price in near futere even if a fraction of our population starts using it.
