It's not surprising that the IMF would hold crypto at some point. I wouldn't be surprised if they're already holding some. It is surprising that the lawyer actually admitted it though. I don't think they're too worried about the decentralized nature of some blockchain assets because they can always make centralized versions and use legislative pressure to force adoption and use. It's not that they're scared of the technology, it's just they want us to demand the tech before they say ok and then switch us to a centralized version. (Just my opinion).
