Eigentlich hat sich in Österreich nichts bezüglich Kryptos geändert, aber die Schlagzeile ist lustig und hat unser kleines Land wieder international berühmt gemacht. Spekulationsgewinne von Kryptos fallen unter die Einkommensteuer, wenn man sie aber länger als 1 Jahr (nicht gewerblich) hält, sind sie im Moment steuerfrei, was cool ist.

Nothing really changed in Austria, but the headline is funny and the news made our little country famous again. Profits from cryptos are taxed with income tax in Austria below 1 year, but are tax-free after 1 year (speculation term), which is cool.
