My friend's killer app Bitfortip, based on his project/website Bitfortip.com, is now available for iOS in the app store.
He has commissioned me to make a bit of a promotional video for the app, and as such, I am headed to Tokyo this Friday night to do so.
HOW DOES BITFORTIP WORK?
Well, it's really easy, actually. First, You download the app, sign up, and then post an inquiry about anything under the sun:
- Where can I find these shoes?
- Is Ayurvedic medicine related to yoga?
- What's the best Mexican restaurant in San Francisco?
- I've seen these sunglasses on TV. What brand are they?
- WHERE CAN I BUY A COMPUTER FOR BITCOIN IN TOKYO???
(In the interest of full disclosure, I already know where I can buy one, but for the sake of testing out the app, and making the promo video, I am asking.)
Next, you set a reward amount it be disbursed to the what you deem the most helpful crowdsourced answer.
Finally, you get your answer, a fellow Bitfortip user gets a tip, and badda-bing badda-boom, there it is!
Whaddya think? Pretty cool, huh? I am honestly very excited about this new app, and hope to see it become an even bigger success than it already is. Fun stuff.
I'm gonna see what answers I get, and then head down to the Tokyo to pick up a new computer with Bitcoin (thanks to Steem funds) at one of the major electronics stores accepting it as payment here in Japan.
See you in Tokyo!
