BitSharesPhilanthropy Group has transferred funds to the Greek Fire Victims.

It has been really heartwarming to see that some members of the BitShares Community have stepped up and given what they could afford in order to help out in this exceptionally tragic situation. Each and everyone of you gave without any expectation of any future self benefit. This has been the best example of true “Altruism” that I have seen in a long time. Thank You, all you big-hearted people!
Special appreciation is extended to all of the BitSharesPhilanthropy core team members for selflessly giving so much of their time in this the early formative stages of our charitable endeavors venue:
Alex Clockwork, made and paid for the coin, and has helped out in many, many ways including by actually being on the scene in Greece;
John-Robert gets special Thanks for putting up with my 'pushy' nature and for attending to many tech details;
da Lexx came in big, right when we needed extra help, and is a trusted multi sig authority;
Steffan in Norway helped out right at the very beginning and is a trusted multi sig authority;
Jacob Walrus of EasyDex deserves a very huge “Thank You” for providing totally free transfer of donated BTS out of our BitShares DEX Charity Fund account in order to send the donations to Greece by providing, totally without any charge, all of the mechanics of converting our Charity Fund's BTS into euros and delivering the euros to the Greek government run Fire Victims Relief account.
This campaign will run one more week, until August 20th. We will then send the rest of the donations to Greece, and will also at that time announce our next charitable endeavour.
