The other night I was lucky enough to tune into a multi-hour live broadcast on Blue Rock Talk (archived video linked at the bottom of this post).
During that video Connie Willis () hosted Stan Larimer (
) the Godfather of BitShares, where he answered many questions from the viewers. I was able to have my question answered precisely by
which I am very thankful for.
I was curious as to whether or not holding my EOS on the BitShares decentralized exchange would keep me from having to register my EOS erc-20 tokens before the June 2018 deadline at the end of the ICO. I was informed that in fact I was actually not even in ownership of my EOS tokens, as I was holding open.EOS which is just a poker chip-like token on Open Ledger. There is nothing wrong with that if you are looking to be exchanging your EOS frequently, however I have chosen to hodl for the long term benefits.
So I am now keeping my EOS in my Exodus wallet, last night I was able to register my wallet address with relative ease by following this guide here : http://support.exodus.io/article/65-i-ve-received-eos-tokens-in-exodus-how-do-i-register-them
So thank you for the clarification
On to the art I have created. During the show there were friendly jokes mentioned about being a hard working farmer and being spotted in overalls. I respect that wholeheartedly, there is nothing like proof of work like some dirt under the nails. This joke led to a short discussion about the famous "American Gothic" Painting by Grant Wood, 1930.
So I had to put my own spin on it. The results are below. This is meant to at the least provide a smile to those that view the image, no disrespect at all is intended. I have nothing but pure love for and
. Both are beacons of hope for the community, I strive to empower others just as much as they do.
Be sure to comment, upvote, resteem, or even give me a follow if you enjoy my artwork. Much more to come, along with a lot that I have already posted. I post mostly my art, yoga practice, cryptocurrency, and sometimes even more.
