Nelson Hunt Community DAO Update

Over the past couple weeks my steem friend Hive account@ronaldoavelino and I have been saving and exchanging steem in order to accumulate BitShares. Here is a brief summary.

The BitShares account "nelson-hunt" now holds 1000 bts and 2 bitSilver : https://cryptofresh.com/u/nelson-hunt

Ronaldo sent 22 steem to my account and the exchange was made with Rudex into bts. At an exchange rate of about 10 bts: 1 steem that yields 220 bts. Or roughly 1/5 of the bts in "nelson-hunt". Here is where things get interesting Hive account@ronaldoavelino. By combining our steem/bts we can create something greater than the sum its parts. We can do many things with bts: voting in shareholder elections or even lending money to others in our communities with smart contracts.

Remember the public bank posts and discussion? Imagine a public bank but without a formal government running things. Any enterprise, including the provision of monetary services (banking) can be improved if it's directly owned by and operated for the benefit of its owners.
