What have I been up to since I posted last?
Mostly work. As anticipated, work has taken up a larger amount of time. Fall is busier for me than summer (I started with Steemit in June 2017). So that is part of it.
Also Bitshares
For the last couple weeks, I've been diving deep into Bitshares. Steem is built upon Bitshares technology and there are a lot of people here on Steemit who are connected with Bitshares in some way or are just really enthusiastic about it.
I am now one of those people who is really enthusiastic about Bitshares.
Trading
It took me a while to figure out how to trade. I've never traded crypto-currencies before. The experience has been good. Just reading the interface and figuring out what it does wasn't super hard, but did take time.
I've been making mostly successful trades with the goal of increasing the number of Bitshares I own. It's been a lot of fun. Two of my sons are also trading using Bitshares and OpenLedger. Fun for the whole family!
Getting back to coding...
It may take a while before I begin posting about Node.js again. There's some stuff I just have to get done for the small business I own that does take priority. I will get back to it... promise.
