When in doubt. Get the money out! The "how to" withdraw
all your money from @Bittrex after they changed the rules on you.
You know what I mean, pop up, "We have updated our terms.."
I had already emptied my account because I saw coins being disabled, liquidity issues, and other usual signs that an web site exchange is failing. I knew I was close to the "person of interest" level since I had moved hundreds of thousands in Steem out to Bittrex, then into other places. I was just using my empty account to hold some SBD to send anonymously to people who needed a booster vote.
We have to start using Bittrex and Poloniex like burner phones
Like those throw away SIM chips you can buy then toss? These sites should not be
collecting data on us, so junk your account every so often.
I did the support thing
They said that I had to give them my name, address, etc. Just the basic data. Tell the twitter world, post on Steemit and any other sites where you have followers. Mass negativity attached to any "big name" will still bring them down! Timber! (even redwoods can fall)
I protested...
I usually call my youngest into my office and ask "Can you find a button with and 'A' word on it? Sure, you can click it if you wat to help." Then a kiss and hug are all I need to pay for that agreement. And...
No, you can't have my kids' data either!!
Next step
Find someone - anyone who may want a couple hundred. Make sure you don't know them and they don't know you.
Give them one or two hundred dollars to fill out a form with their name, address, etc.
I was able to get a recent photo ID and cable bill just in case (but I didn't have to use it)
Enter the data into the @Bittrex verification system. It will not find the data in less than a second and ask for an Enhanced Verification immediately. They don't want names and locations. They want YOU to hand over to the
Irresponsible
Repulisive
System
So Just Slide Your Mouse Left
and click 'enable account"
Withdraw your money
Done!
They are going to close the support ticket if they don't hear back from me. But now the money has all been withdrawn...
Should I tell them?
Thanks for stopping in
