Based on the creating account it doesn't seem to be tied to the "official" accounts at all, but that just speaks to the root problems of
- Hivewatchers being misconstrued as an "official" governing body in the first place.
- The tone deaf and unprofessional way these anti-abuse efforts can often be carried out. In this case we can see a supporter choosing trolling over listening to legitimate concerns from the community they claim to serve.
I particularly like the whole "Waaaahhh, Muh Rewards!" attempt at mockery. They seem oblivious to the irony that the entire concept of anti-abuse downvoting is centered around people lamenting that those posts are taking away from their own rewards. 🤷♂
