he stemians I want to write and publish about blind spots today.
What is meant by a blind spot and its uses
Blind Spot is an area where an operator or vehicle driver cannot see other objects from the driving position either directly or through the rearview mirror when he operates the vehicle unit. Blind Spot is not only in part of the area behind the vehicle, but also on the side and front of the vehicle. The area is a dangerous area that can cause casualties.
If in this example a motorcycle incident slipped in front of a truck that was lining up on the highway,
there was also the case of a granddaughter of a toddler being a victim when his grandfather backed up the car after parking at home.
Bad incidents due to blind spots must be prevented. Here are some ways to prevent accidents due to blind spots:
A. Familiarize the SURVEY of the vehicle before operating the vehicle after parking. Although parking is only a short time. My own experience that I have experienced, when parking in front of the minimarket, a moment later I returned to the vehicle and the Survey found that there was a parking motorcycle behind my vehicle. That position will clearly not be seen from the rear view mirror. I immediately search for a motorbike and asked to move the motorbike. That's the benefit of the Vehicle Survey ... What if we didn't survey the road and without being noticed there was a kid playing behind the car?
B. When going to change lanes or turn off the highway, do not just rely on the rearview mirror but look a moment in the direction we will turn to identify other drivers who are in the blind spot area not visible from the rear view mirror. Some of us may have experienced when driving the car will turn left, seen in the mirror there are no other vehicles but suddenly surprised there is a motor before the right when we will turn, to anticipate this we need to glance before turning!
C. Ask for help from others as a guide if we doubt the conditions around our vehicle. This needs to be done in a restricted area to maneuver.
D. Driving anticipatory to all objects and conditions around the vehicle and the traversing of the road.
Hope it is useful ... for all of us
send regards for success
