As far as I know, Ethereum is the most advanced blockchain technology available for dapps right now. While still slow (15 tx/s), no so cheap (1–3 usd/tx) and not yet solving all scalability issues, TomoChain is coming to help with that.
To solve the issues mentioned above, TomoChain is replacing the Proof of Work consensus with Proof of Authority. This consensus mechanism is also used by poa.network and is expected to be way cheaper and faster.
Another important component of TomoChain ecosystem is the zero fee micro transactions support (or off-chain processing). This would allow to process multiple transactions in chunks and submit them to the live net once in a while (and avoid congestions as seen during the CryptoKitties madness)
The last but not the least, TomoChain offers an SDK for easier apps development.
A testnet and a test wallet are already available, so I can’t wait to see this blockchain kicking off, along with great dapps.
