In less than 24 hours we will wave 2017 goodbye and enter 2018. 2017 is currently my favorite year of all time and it is majorly because of Steemit.
Steemit is special to me because it gave me a fertile ground to launch my career in the online world and it also rewarded me for doing so. It also provided me a Network of amazing Human beings that have touched my life is so much ways
By this time last year I never knew what 2017 had in store for me as I entered the year with a lot of Hope that things will go well. Now one year later I am entering another year not only with Hope but with a strong Faith that things can only get better in 2018
As you all know going into a new year sparks up all lot of predictions and there are a wide range of sources ranging from religious figures to respected Organizations and even people in certain fields are all giving predictions ranging from health to Technology
The following are predictions for the next year across different fields of endeavour
Facebook
Facebook entered into the news business years back and helped media companies drive traffic to their sites it was a strategic decisions that paid off for them. They are however pulling back from this strategy
Current signs indicate that the Facebook news feed is now emphasizing posts from the friend feeds of users. They have also pulled back on supporting the creation of video vy media companies
It will be interesting to see the tactics that will be adopted by these media houses in other to gain more traffic next year
Cars
Tesla achieved a great feat when it comes to Auto mobile, the Electric car won the heart of thousands of hearts around the world and cemented Musk's place as a revolutionary in the sands of time
There is also a prediction that Tesla and Space X will collaborate to create an Orbital storage of cars. If achieved this will be a ground breaking achievement
Imagine paying for a car and getting it delivered to your Home from Space. This has been considered because of the expensive Earth-based real estate and also the expense of delivering cars
Next year will also bring us closer to Autonomous vehicles. Though it is believed that semi- autonomous vehicles will be have mass availability next year
Music
Amazon will give its Music service a Marketing boost, the same will also happen with other competitors like Apple and Google will also do all they can to keep up
The new Net Neutrality rules will make it increasingly expensive for solo Music service companies like Spotify and Tidal to surives
Services like Apple Music and Amazon Music service will survive due to the great bacing from their respective parent companies
