You guys seen this?
Thought this was interesting as hell.
A blockchain-based app that verifies mutual consent from both parties for sex.
Cool huh?
Definitely, we need to create avenues for rape victims to give their voice.
Far too often victims are silenced due to fear or technicalities in the law that allow the assailant to get away with it.
Take the Aziz Ansari's case for example, where the 'victim' felt pressured by the actor while on the other hand, she didn't exactly hold back either.
Perhaps an app can make things clear huh?
Yet, I wonder if this would only make things more complicated.
What if...
Someone uses the app to consent sex, but changes their mind the last minute? (Literally dick inches away from pussy.)
Someone claims their app was hacked or whatever?
Someone a victim claims he or she was forced into consenting with the app?
Someone claims that they will consent after the sex, because it was so fucking passionate and shit during the heat of the moment, but because the sex sucked after all, they changed their minds after that and want to push blame?
The app totally glitches and fucks up altogether?
What an interesting world we live in.
Let me know what you all think!
