This week has been a whirlwind at the DC Blockchain Summit hosted by the Chamber of Digital Commerce and Georgetown University. It started with an all night code-a-thon contest with a one bitcoin prize.
Yesterday was a full slate of speakers limited to fifteen minute presentations. That’s not a lot of time to present on a topic. The speakers did an excellent job of delivering concise information on a variety of topics on how Blockchain is being used to solve real world problems.
The presentations begin this morning with a presentation from US Representative Tom Emmer of the Comgressional Blockchain Caucus and Matt Roszak, co-founder of Bloq.
From the Nasdaq to academia, the chamber has brought together an amazing slate of talented speakers from across the spectrum of private and public sector. It has been an amazing event so far. I will post some photos this weekend.
I hope to see as many of you as possible at Cryptolina in Raleigh in a few months. We should have another awesome agenda packed with talented speakers.
