When God wanted to write a book to mankind He must have thought, “How do I do a ‘Proof of Work’ and make My Story ‘un-tamperable’?”
Being the Creator He is, He created a Distributed Ledger and recruited over 60 Authors, or Miners, that were called Prophets and Apostles to write it. He put a limit on how much "Scriptuream-©DavidJHerron" would be issued. The Textus Receptus version of the Bible is well over two thousand five hundred copies of that Ledger. These verify each other. Where one or more (but very few) have a minor transcription error, the others covered it. When someone made a major change, the others dis-qualified it and it was placed in obsolete libraries where modern scholars would find it and create false translations of His Word. The Textus Receptus is reliable, in fact, infallible!
That is what the Blockchain Technology does. It distributes all transactions so no central "authority" can alter. Smart contracts and cryptocurrencies, like the first one, Bitcoin, have found the way to secure the source and all subsequent transactions, just as God did it.
Other versions of the Bible (other chains) were rejected by the King James English translators. They were not verified immutable! The Distributed Ledger means you can TRUST the Source, without having to actually see the original source. IT has been copied multiple times and distributed so no one entity can tamper with it or change it, without YOU knowing!
If you do not understand Blockchain yet, this illustration may help you to believe in it.
If you do not understand or believe the Bible yet, this illustration may help you to believe in The Bible, the first Blockchain. Have you actually read it, or just heard about it?
"The Truth shall set you Free."
It’s okay to be skeptical of both, Blockchain and Bible, until you know more. So please, give me an upVote on Steemit and a “Like” wherever you find this post, and come back to CryptoChurch and “The Whosoever Class” (just one chain I will author) where we can discuss this further. It will be fun and profitable, ". . . on Earth, as it is in Heaven".
