Cryptocurrency in general is great, being that it monetizes participation in running the ledgers, etc. for blockchain. Decentralization of gambling and other established industries that once required being filthy rich is cool for obvious reasons. But honestly, more than any single project that exists at the moment, I am most excited for the implications of a voting network that is not centralized. As more banks adopt blockchain and more people understand it, more and more people will probably pressure governments to adopt it as the method of voting. in political elections.
This would be a huge step towards removing representative government and installing something that looks more like a true democracy.
I do not know for certain that it will happen, but this is the conversations I am talking about- what the big picture potentials are for blockchain and the many other various ways it could shape a new future
