Nexo is Hyundai’s latest hydrogen fuel cell vehicle. It was introduced at CES and goes on sale in the U.S. in the fourth quarter of this year, 2018. The NEXO runs on Hydrogen gas, which is used by the vehicles fuel cell to produce electricity.
What is a fuel cell?
A fuel cell is an electrochemical cell that converts the chemical energy from a fuel into electricity through an electrochemical reaction of hydrogen fuel with oxygen. It is called the Proton Exchange Membrane or (PEM).
