The current consensus algorithms are not able to satisfy the 3 needs of the system.
The 3 requirements are scalabity, security and efficiency. While some are met by some of the algorithms and packages independently, non of the 3 algorithms satisfy the 3 requirements.
Algorand and PoW meet the scalability and safety or security requirements but PoW is wanting in efficient computational overhead, while Algorand is also power consumption efficient but has strict overall connectivity requirements. PoS wholly is efficient but lacks scalability and security while DPoS is well scalable and secure but is wanting when it comes to efficiency. Other algorithms like pBFT have their own limitations which need to be resolved.
Project Solutions
Seele is built in ways as to distil out the advantages and disadvantages of the current consensus algorithms while proffering a new e-differential agreement (EDA).
EDA will be based on micro real numbers that can convert the consensus limitations to asynchronous request processing.
This process will incorporate data sorting in a large scale environment. This will enable a robust system that can stomach the connectivity of all networks on the platform. Seele has an advantage that is evident in the linear scalability of its consensus algorithms, which is seen in the increase in performance speed as the number of nodes increases.
Seele will provide internet storage for users who wish to store files online. This feature is fielded as a result of the metadata directory which supports large volume computing.
These storage interfaces will also be provided with links to other files and storage options. All the features of the platform will work together to provide an unprecedented internet user experiences for all internet users.
Token Information
Seele introduces a token mechanism that will be used in two aspects. The first will be to use tokens to reward participating nodes which will in other words serve as the final currency issuance.
The other is to charge transaction fees which will be used to reward the consensus nodes.
