I admit that at first I was rather perplexed, the platform is really not easy to understand, but when I understood, Bitshares revealed to me all its power and especially proved to me that the word revolution very (very) good.
Decentralized, decentralized, decentralized, one hears this word hundreds of times a day when one meets the world of crypto! But the reality is much more centralized than one would think. Because for all our exchanges cryptocurrencies we always pass through centralized platforms, which always store our passwords in databases and ultimately these platforms will be hacked sooner or later. Storing passwords is only one problem among many others, one could talk about corruption of fraud, privacy etc etc ...
I had a flash tonight thinking of Bitshares, I do not know why I thought about the (classic) economic system in general and I had an unusual revelation. Maybe for you it was obvious from the start but I confess that the complexity of the platform had a blocking effect on my mind. But this revelation allowed me to understand why Bitshares does not meet the success he deserves so much.
First, it is the financial giants who have to worry. First evidence, the removal of Bitshares by Bittrex, indeed the 13 Oct. 2017 Bitshares have been removed from Bittrex and without any valid reason. The reason advanced is the size of the node that would be too heavy and therefore too expensive to exploit. But an update to correct this problem but Bittrex, did not consider it good to update and preferred to put sticks, in the wheels to Bitshares.
Basically it's understandable, because a platform like Bittrex has no interest in Bitshares becoming a leader in the field of exchanges. In fact, all the actors in this domain (classic or crypto) have no interest in what Bitshares imposes. And I think that's the main reason why Bitshares has and will have a hard time doing it.
Poloniex, bitfinex, bittrex, coinbase, cryptopia etc. etc ... are only surfing on a wave and derive large profits which in the end are converted into FIAT and stored in conventional banks. These platforms are really not revolutions, just a nice band of opportunists who have felt the right vein and have exploited it to the very core.
Bitshares is totally different, because it is the only technology that offers us a decentralized exchange of trust. No limit on filing, withdrawal, no identity to provide for exchanges, the only technology that pays its workers and witnesses via its blockchain and especially the only one that gives you power (I will come back a little more later).
Unfortunately I have absolutely no time to give you a detail of all the characteristics of Bitshares I just told you about this revolution largely underestimated to encourage you to learn about this subject and especially to discover it by testing the platform . If you have Pockets do not forget that you can exchange them on Bitshares so take advantage to make some exchanges in order to familiarize yourself and discover the platform.
But let's get back to the most important, the revelation that made me realize that Bitshares was really a revolution. I was reading a book of economics before going to bed and I can not explain in detail all the points that confirm me in my opinion but imagine a second finance with a competitor such as Bitshares. Imagine that finance is being shaken by this new mode of exchange. Imagine the billions of dollars of losses for all the players in the current economic system and above all imagine a fairer world with freer exchanges. Inquire and you will see that Bitshares' disclaimer work is enormous and I understand better why. Imagine you busy exchanging your crypto on a decentralized exchange!
In fact it is very simple with Bitshares the loop is closed and finance takes a hell of a blow, ended the finance reserved for a few insiders and hello finance open to all !! Before we get there, there is a long way to go, because the transition is really not obvious and I must admit that if I have been discouraged myself, I believe that democratized Bitshares is not going to be a small matter. But as Steemit we can make sure that Bitshares imposes itself, using it already by talking about this technology around us, but especially by getting informed and becoming familiar with the platform.
I will try to give you a detailed article on Bitshares very soon, because here I am just throwing an umpteenth pavement in the pit I do not know why, but I really wanted to draw your attention to this technology underestimated! At 0.043 $ the Bitshares I think refueling would not be a bad idea even if you do not yet capture all its potential just know that it is huge and you will not stop to discover just how promising the technology is.
