Good Evening All,
I recently completed the Certified Blockchain Expert course (2 hours ago) offered by The Blockchain Council (https://www.blockchain-council.org/). The course provides a good overview of blockchain technology, with the exception of a few misspelled words and some exam questions not exactly tying back to the course material.
The course begins with a brief introduction and then launches into decentralized networks, what is blockchain, mining, Ethereum and smart contracts, execution and distribution of transactions, and ends with exploring use cases in banking and finance, healthcare, and supply-chain. The course spans around 3 hours and is broken down into short videos to cover each topic. At the end the course, you are presented with a timed (1 hour) multiple choice exam and need 60% to pass and receive the certification. You are allowed 3 attempts at the exam and if you do not pass, then you can work with the Blockchain Council to manually assist you.
Lastly, the price of the course is advertised as $99 USD (they should offer payment in BTC); however, I did receive a 10% discount code (blockchain10) when I subscribed to the Blockchain Council's newsletter. In addition, I reached out to inquire about additional discounts and they are amenable group discounts as well.
Has anyone taken this certification course? If so, I would love to hear your assessment. Lastly, I am looking for recommendations for blockchain courses. So if you know of a good course, I implore you to share!!
