What's happening Steemit? January of 2018 is almost over and crypto-currency prices are volatile as ever! With Bitconnect down and South-Korean government officials being accused of insider trading, Bitcoin and the most of the top Alt-coins have dropped as low as 50%.
Judging from recent prices, it's pretty fair to say that this recent bear market would be a pretty healthy correction. Just before 2017 ended, most of the alt coins were going up at insane rates. To give you an idea on which of my coins performed the best: I bought Ripple at $0.25 and it peaked over $3. I got in Ethereum at $300 and that peaked over $1200, I got in Litecoin at $70 and that had a all time high over $350.
I am currently holding my positions and also added $TRX $XEM $EOS to my portfolio as I believe these are solid projects with lots of potential but don't take my word for it and see for yourself!
I am very excited for 2018, as more people are getting into this space and with all the new developments coming out it's going to be a great year.
