Kari Larsen, a previous executive of Bitcoin derivatives startup LedgerX, previously enforced a moderation as legal adviser for the Commodity Future Trading Commission (CFTC), has associated Perkins Coie LLP.
The industry group's chair, J. Dax Hansen said in a assertion - "Kari brings to bear a deep knowledge of derivative exchange platforms and the commodities sector to represent traders and CFTC registered entities focused on launching innovative products, including cryptocurrency products,"
And Perkins Coie said yesterday that Larsen was designated partner for the firm's Blockchain Technology and Digital Currency industry group.
Larsen expressed in an interview that her time in the CFTC left her with a perdurable impression, Praising the agency for being "sophisticated and nimble" when it comes to investigating new products and markets." She also said that it's a pleasure to work with the staff of CFTC.
