There are over 600 million PCS(Payment, Clearing, Settlement) transactions per day in USA alone. To back this up, "blockchain" system will need infinite capacity since it needs to carry all the "ledgers".
Also, I doubt if China uses her government owned supercomputers to mine Bitcoin and alike, and sooner or later people will find out.
