Hello fellow Steemers, My name is Pedro Basto and this is my introductory post! Very excited to be here - this is my very first social media post since I absolutely despise conventional social media where human beings are merely used as products to generate ad revenue and their private data is sold to the highest bidder. It is actually very very sad since most people are so brainwashed they have no idea of what they are doing! The matrix hard at work at it's finest! But let's talk about happier things - the blockchain! This is a technology I endorsed and started participating back in 2012 and never looked back. It is now grwoing near the point of going mainstream - this is where it gets critical and dangerous since the powers that be will always try to tie the noose around its neck, but I am very positive we the people can actually win this time around. I will be sharing my adventures here, some of my professional life experience, and perhaps most importantly, my 4 year journey through the blockchain until this very point tin time - something I personally like to call "Steemergence" - yes, I just coined this word - it was on my mind as soon as I woke up this morning - plagiarists beware! :-)
I am a poet, a science and tech enthusiast (hence blockchain by association), an IT entrepreneur, and also possess great passion for languages, philosophy, astrophysics, motorsport, literature and quality in general.
