One of the brains behind Apple is positive on blockchain and cryptocurrency, but he feels it will take a decade to get there. So lots of time :p. He also thinks bitcoin will be the world's currency in the future. Though it is funny, he sold all his bitcoin but one because he didn't want to be an investor and watch the markets. I can feel that, some days...
So ten years. What do you think? In terms of it reaching its peak I can see that but I do not think it will be long before we start to see changes. I would guess 3 years as apps start to come out. When a couple of big (and user-friendly) dapps come out we will see a big push and then other companies will start to get on board. Now these other companies might takes years to get their apps out and this might be when blockchain really takes off. You will have the starting apps then the companies the come in after to try and build on top of it.
Either way it is looking good.
