THEY'RE OFF! And it’s DON_ANGELITO, bursting out of the gate like a shot, ALICINA6969’s entry showing early speed! But look at LADY, ALICIA2022’s other entry, right on his flank, challenging for the lead! BOJACK also showing good early pace, CHOWLUIS’ horse vying for position. Back in the pack, we see SECRETARIAT, also owned by ALICIA2022, settling into a comfortable stride, while FANTASMA, the other CHOWLUIS entry, is content to trail at the back.
As they round the first turn, LADY has taken command! A clear leader by half a length, with DON_ANGELITO just behind. BOJACK is third, followed closely by RELINCHO_ETERNO for CPOL. ARTEMIS for FREED99 is running mid-pack, with PINCHITO for ALICINA6969 starting to lose some ground, while SECRETARIAT bides his time, lurking just behind the leaders. FANTASMA still bringing up the rear.
Down the backstretch they thunder! LADY continues to set the pace, looking strong, now a length and a half ahead! DON_ANGELITO is starting to fade a little, and SECRETARIAT is making a move! He’s picking up speed, closing the gap on the leaders! ARTEMIS sticking to the rail, saving ground. RELINCHO_ETERNO is boxed in a little on the outside. PINCHITO is falling further back, and FANTASMA, well, he's still bringing up the rear.
Approaching the far turn, the race is heating up! LADY still in front but SECRETARIAT is closing the gap with every stride! He’s only half a length behind now! ARTEMIS is starting to make his move, weaving through the pack, while DON_ANGELITO is tiring rapidly. BOJACK is struggling to keep pace. RELINCHO_ETERNO trying to find some running room! PINCHITO is out of contention, and FANTASMA... well, he's having a nice scenic tour of the track.
Into the final turn! LADY is still clinging to the lead, but here comes SECRETARIAT! He’s right on her tail, and ALICIA2022 is about to have a 1-2 finish! ARTEMIS is gaining ground on the outside, RELINCHO_ETERNO is trying to get through on the inside! DON_ANGELITO has completely faded, BOJACK is struggling, PINCHITO is nowhere to be seen, and FANTASMA is just trying to finish the race.
And HERE THEY COME down the stretch! LADY is digging deep, but SECRETARIAT is surging! He’s right beside her! But LADY finds another gear! She pulls ahead by a nose! This is going to be close! ARTEMIS is closing fast, but is it too late? RELINCHO_ETERNO is battling for fourth!
LADY is giving it everything she’s got! SECRETARIAT is right there! The crowd is on its feet! But LADY, she’s holding on! By a length! Two lengths! Three lengths!
LADY WINS! LADY for ALICIA2022 takes the victory by a commanding five lengths! What a performance!
SECRETARIAT, also for ALICIA2022, finishes second, two lengths ahead of ARTEMIS who grabbed third in the final strides for FREED99!
RELINCHO_ETERNO for CPOL finishes fourth, just a neck behind ARTEMIS! Don_Angelito finishes fifth, followed by BoJack, Pinchito, and Fantasma trailing behind.
