Just bought this model by Romankey and it is gorgeous. While classified under toys, these models serve more like art support items to help artists learn how to render without paying for a live model. Here's some souvenirs from the unboxing.

Other items on the collection are human anatomy models and anything that displays a more detailed look for anatomy reference. I prefer "investing" on ball joint dolls / figures because the ease of manipulating the model for a specific reference when I want to draw.
I think I spent around 250$ to 300$ for my current collection as some of these items are original and others are just knock offs.
Collecting anime figures for hot waifus is tempting but it's easier to rationalize that I'm spending for educational materials with my art hobby.
Next target on the list is the Female Model
And after, maybe some investment on doll clothing and consider using the dolls for portrait photography practice.
My train of thought when it comes to hobbies is finding something I could scale the hobby with.
