Free Frostino and A Good Laugh: That's How We Started the Weekend

More because I am crazy too! Haha.

We used to work in the same office, gone separate ways, but still we found ways to keep in touch and enjoy each other's company over our common love -- FOOD and COFFEE! The irony was we did not spend this much time together when we were working together. The regular lunch and coffee happened afterwards.

Here on this post, I shared one of our epic weekend kickstarters. I was still encouraging Francis, now known to you as Hive account@virgo27 to join steemit at this time.

Recently, we had been busy with our own personal affairs and were not able to have our traditional Monday or Thursday lunch (and or dinner) out. Francis, on his post shared how he missed the foodour company. Sweet, eh?!

The Free Costa Frostino

On this screenshot of our conversation on our whatsapp group chat, somebody (aka Hive account@virgo27) invited us to "cut-class" for Thursday afternoon. Apparently, Costa Coffee UAE were to give away free Frostino.

Who does not want FREE drinks, right?!

So we set up a "date" and concluded we must be there at 2:59pm since the free beverage was to be given at 3:00pm. Lol. Our dear friend Avee, despite being in Dubai decided she needed to come too. Oh, you should have heard how she told her hubby she'd come to Abu Dhabi just for coffee (and us, of course) lol.

They met for lunch at our fave lunch spot at Sweet and Spicy restaurant first. Playing "good girl", I finished my work hours at 5:00pm and joined them at Costa after bringing the kids home. Thanks to hubby Hive account@kennyroy who is ever supportive of my lakwatsa moments with these crazy people. I did not have to worry about the kids.

We spent over 2 hours lounging at the coffee shop.

Laughing out loud, giggling and talking over the free drinks, we did not notice the time. We seemed oblivious of the things going on around us too. I was surprised we were not kicked out of the coffee shop. lol.

Hey UAE peeps, watch out for more free drinks from Costa in the upcoming weekends!

More than the free drinks, I appreciate time spent with these crazy bunch. Friends have the capability to unload burdens, put smile at aching hearts, simply by just being that-- crazy!
