This blog is in answer to those who asked me to write more about marketing your website.
“What is your website to you, and those who come to your site?”
Even though your readers are your followers, they are also your `shareholders’!
How is that?
When people participate on your site, their sharing of comments they naturally become ‘SHARE-holders’. Consider it… They are having some say on your website, aren’t they?!
So how do you get `shareholders’ in the first place?
What are you providing that entices them to come and them make comments?
Naturally they come because:
- Fantastic `click-bait’ headlines that grip their attention in the first place.
- And they only come, if they know they’re going to greatly benefit from what’s on your site.
You, as the owner of the website:
It’s your job to empower people when they get to your website…. because people want to be empowered.
- What opportunities are you supplying?
- What can they learn from you?
- Have you anything new and exciting that no one else is providing?
- Are people getting their money’s worth? What free-bees are you offering?
- What exhilarating entertainment are you providing?
- Is your product the best out there?
They’re certainly not coming to see and read a lot of boring tripe!
Consider now: when you go to other people’s websites, what do feel about their sites?
What were you expecting or looking for?
So what are you providing? Is it good?!
People talk about ‘by word-of-mouth’…… but the best is … ‘brag-by-mouth’ that rakes-in the people and money! That is, other people `bragging’ about your website and what happens there.
So it’s up to you, to provide some really dramatic dynamic blog stuff!
The time you spend to write blogs may take a lot of time to put together.
- But is it worth it, for your readers to stick around?
- Are you providing the right stuff that will give them the answers, they are so desperately looking for?
You see Marketing isn’t what it used to be!
- It’s not just the little shop or the mall just down the street.
- Now, the whole wide world web presents a greater scope to choose from.
- People are seeing stuff they never saw before.
- So one has to produce and provide better stuff.
And not only that, they want to know who they are dealing with.
- Are you trust worthy? Is your product what you say it is?
- What authority do you have in your field?
- Are you talking from personal experience? Can you demonstrate it?
- They want to know who they are talking to and what’s your personality is like.
Why?
All this builds unity: One-on-one friendships.
So what does that tell you? It’s like you are building a community where everyone feels comfortable to gather-in and share…. As `SHARE-holders’!
