I have to say tonight has been a great night, it felt amazing to be around my family and a few friends who decided to join us at a bonfire that had been put on by are local church.
There was no cost to get in to watch it, but there was buckets around the place to pop in a donation if you wanted too.
we donated like we thought we should do and the place soon filled up with people, we stood at the front so our kids could see everything that was happening.
the bonfire was properly run and was fenced off so that there was no danger to the public.
They lit the bonfire at 6.30pm and it went up very quickly
The heat that came from the fire was amazing as they licked into the air nearly double the height of the bonfire.
At 7pm there was a really good fireworks show that went on for nearly half an hour, I couldn't take any photos as my phone ran out of battery :C
There was free drinks for the kids and coffee and tea was really cheap, there was a lady walking around and giving kids free glow bands.
We really enjoyed ourselves and now we know about this we are wanting to go again next year, but next year we will be standing further away than tonight as it got really crowded and we felt like we were getting crushed.
