I have been living in the concrete jungle for nearly 13 years but this Easter weekend I moved to a small village.
I have not seen the stars in the night sky for that long that tonight when they peeked through the clouds it was breath taking.
The last time I saw them like this was nearly 15 years ago when I woke in a field after a good night out.
My neighbours must think I am nuts, I only went out to put the black bin out for collection in the morning but for a solid 10 minutes I just looked at the sky.
Where we were living was so built up you could hardly see the stars, the light pollution would be that bad that when you looked up there would be nothing but a haze of light in the sky.
It is so different now, I have fields behind my house with horses grazing on grass I have a river that runs at the side, I love this place and I have only been here 6 days.
If I could find my phone to take a photo I would but with the move and painting today I have put it down on silent mode and I cant find it anywhere.
Lucky for me the internet was installed today, other wise I would be screwed coming on steemit tonight.
