This is actually the first article I read on steemit. Could be because of its my first day here^^ But no, its more that I could relate to your words from the first sentence on.

I think these kind of plattforms are indeed controverse as there are of course people just being nice to get likes and stuff. But that shouldn't affect us should it? I mean, just do your authentic thing and even if you are going to invite people to steem it, just be authentic in saying "there is a lot of bullshit and jerks online, but also a lot of cool nice people and the nice people front needs to grow" ;)
