I don't know about you but I spend a lot of time thinking about places I would like to travel to.
Unfortunately, I am not in a position that I can do any travelling for quite some time.
I can dream about it though.
Dreams are free.
I make lists and do research to plan out all the elaborate trips that I hope to take.
Then I store it away in my trusty bucket list for another day.
I haven't spent much time outside of the U.S. to date.
When I have it has only been for a few brief trips just inside of Canada.
I live in a U.S./Canadian border town and it's not much of an adventure crossing the bridge.
Geographically and culturally the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and the southern parts of Ontario (that I have visited) are quite similar.
So, for a few minutes every day I like to imagine I could just snap my fingers and be somewhere else for a few hours.
Anywhere my heart desires.
I could be on a beach on the other side of the world.
With the wind in my hair and sand squishing between my toes.
Or standing at the top of a mountain admiring the scenery.
I could even pop onto a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean.
Okay, definitely not THAT ship but you get the idea.
The concept of being able to instantly be anywhere else is one of my favorite things to think about.
Some day in the future physicists could very well figure out a working method of teleportation.
It may seem impossible to us now but nearly everything we have in today's world was once thought impossible by most.
For now I have my dreams and of course I will always have my favorite substitute for travel and exploration.
They haven't failed me yet.
If you could be anywhere in the world right this moment where would you go?
I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoy daydreaming about teleportation.
Thank you for checking out my post.
